Transcripts

This is an extract from the first civil census of the village where the names of the inhabitants were recorded (the first civil census in 1801 and the subsequent ones in 1811, 1821 and 1831, did not record the names of people but merely coounted numbers and the primary occupations in which they were engaged.

This transcript is in summary form and only includes the details of the head of each household. The original document contains much more information.

The first column records the sequence of the record, the second and third the name of the head of household, the fourth his / her age (this is rounded up or down to the nearest five year mark) and the final column the occupation.
